Rooted in atmospheric black metal it lets in folk-inflected and experimental hues, allowing the music to shimmer with an uncommon kind of beauty. There is a sugary component to the songwritting but not always in a languid pace, sometimes bearing its fangs even if not overtly so.

"Berghammer" seems at once pastoral and ominous, gleaming but simultaneously bruised. Its atmospheric blackness is absorbing rather than just overwhelming and its melancholy carries a slow-burning tension beneath the surface.
